Worship services at First Lutheran Church
Worship Services at First Lutheran are based on the upbeat, joyful liturgical music of the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) and With One Voice (WOV).  The three weekly services have subtle style differences, while holding to a common liturgical flow and message.  The music generally features the congregation's wonderful pipe organ, and the Cathedral Choir contributes to the 8:30 am Sunday Worship services during the academic year (after Labor Day - mid-May).  Some services are blessed with the wonderful music provided by one of the two bell groups, or a special music ensemble.  Holy Communion occurs in nearly all worship services, and First Lutheran Church has a practice of offering the bread and wine to all who are baptized.
